Frank Briddle (TV's Orson Lee) gets more than he bargains for when his research takes a turn from science to the occult. Textbooks are replaced with grimoires and scientific experiments give way to ancient rites as Frank unearths depraved knowledge best left uncovered.

When a dark ritual goes awry, the boundary between this world and the reality next door is shattered and Frank is left disfigured and broken. But his obsession remains, and as chaos erupts and the stakes rise, is there anything that can stop Frank's frenzied quest to become the Octogod?

And what other malevolent forces lie in wait beyond the edge of reality?
